We will donate all our collection to NATIONAL KIDNEY FOUNDATION. This foundation is responsible for helping ppl with kidney failure who needs to undergo dialysis which is primarily used to provide an artificial replacement for lost kidney function due to kidney failure.

In hemodialysis, the patient's blood is pumped through the blood compartment of a dialyzer, exposing it to a partially permeable membrane. The cleansed blood is then returned via the circuit back to the body. Ultrafiltration occurs by increasing the hydrostatic pressure across the dialyzer membrane. This usually is done by applying a negative pressure to the dialysate compartment of the dialyzer. This pressure gradient causes water and dissolved solutes to move from blood to dialysate, and allows the removal of several litres of excess fluid during a typical 3 to 5 hour treatment. Studies have demonstrated the clinical benefits of dialyzing 5 to 7 times a week, for 6 to 8 hours. These frequent long treatments are often done at home, while sleeping but home dialysis is a flexible modality and schedules can be changed day to day, week to week. In general, studies have shown that both increased treatment length and frequency are clinically beneficial.

We as the Photography and Video Club of MHS realised the role we should play as a society to help and care for the sick. I admit there are many other Foundation and Society which need help but our group has decided on giving a helping hand to this particular Foundation after many discussion.

On the 27th december 2008,i woke up early to get ready for my National Service.A place where i dig in to know myself deeper,understand myself better.That morning.I'm very glad to have my friends there to say goodbye to me.Not forgetting my parents and sis.AND EVEN my grandmother.Seeing my grandma from the bus make me feel as though i was her only one.indeed yea! i'm her only grandson.I rushed down from the bus to say goodbye to her and also listened to her words she said in Hokkien.And my friends,as i turned i saw the one bunch VERY familiar faces.i was touched.

I was lucky to have 2 friends to be in the same camp as me.DEXTER AND PALMER.i will say both of them were there for me when i needed them.Dexter is always there for his words and thoughts.while Palmer ( my dorm-mate ) was like my brother even i don have one.he's always there to listen to me.We do everything together.we cheered for each other the entire moment.

Waking up at 5.30 every morning was a must.Morning exercises.Classes.Talks.Videos.Sports.Community services.Performances were things we do in camp.And i did things that i will probably do once in my life-time.As time passes by, i knew many friends and we became closer and closer.We're like brothers and sisters.And the whole camp is like one big family.

All the jurulatih there just simply taught me alot.EVERYTHING AND JUST ANYTHING.Teamwork was always essential.One advice from my jurulatih that has stuck in my brain is : JADILAH INSAN YANG BERGUNA.and of course many more......
Its a sweet memory that i'll always remember.I never regret being chosen as a trainee.Its something i'm proud of.

On the 27th may (last wednesday) was terry and my birthday.its kind of exciting though.i'm 18 this year.well.fyi.i NEVER celebrate my birthday in school before. ( i mean, my birthday never fall on a schooling day before ).so this year is my very 1st year celebrating birthday in my school.i would say its really nice.having friends wishing u as u meet them,got the whole class singing birthday song for me and stuffs and not forgetting every msgs i received on my cellphone.i appreaciate it ALOT! its nice its fun and i enjoyed being 18!

and i would like to thank my bunch FRIENDS for the outing.its hell of a fun being with u all.just enjoy spending valuable time with each other.having u all is one good gift i would say.

alrite.so its a long holiday for me.there was one night when my auntie called me up saying that she wants to bring me for supper.i was like OKAY! cause i'm hungry too.then she fetched me out for supper.i could say that's the best and satisfying supper i ever had! imagine.close to 12 midnight i had 2 plates of rice.CHAR SIEW rice.and side dishes.fulamak! AFTER THAT,every night about 10-11 my tummy will be craving for food! damn it.that night onwards,i had supper everyday! if i'm at home i'll be having maggi! but i don think i'm growing X-way! so..it was all actually a dare! we, a group of NUTS went WILD! TOTALLY WILD.then ideas came in to do this and that.so i forgotten who suggested that we go bald.so many chickened-out! only 2 out us! i could say that it is a brave move! or BRAVEST MOVE IN MY LIFE!CHUA GUI GENG AND CALVIN CHAN ( ME! ).guess wat! we were EVEN born on the same day and DATE! 27/05/1991! HOW COOL? i wonder whether we were laying next to each other in the hospital but unfortunately no! DIFF HOSPITAL! so nvm.we both planned on the same day to go bald.and it was a friday! and i remember kept looking into the mirror to have a glance and touch on my hair for the last time!!!!!!!!!

i brought my younger sis along to the saloon where i'm always there to have a hair-cut as she wanna cut her hair too.and gui geng was in another shop near his place.and before he get into the shop he gave me a call. it goes

i watched his movie video on hitz.tv.it was really awesome.i got really sticked to the video.
WHAT ABOUT NOW.i thought it was something got to do with love or those mushy mushy stuff! but then he did a great job.sending messages about HUMANITY throughout his video and throughtout the world! AND it also brings out things that are happening in this world we're living in! it is so cool.so to me IT IS a really good video.worth watching! Do something to save the world.

hey guys.i cant update my blog now.busyyyy.well.currently i have 2 things to blog about.

1) trip to BUKIT TINGGI AND GENTING

bm tuition

so..
as usual every tuesday i'll have bm tuition.today is no exception! well.when i got there it just like any other usual day.then things get started and blah blah blah...
then! when Mr.****** was teaching he called me up.the dialog in front of like 40++ students is as followed :
sir : the chan fella there,give me 1 more isi for the karangan bahagian A u did for ur trial exam.
me : hmm..MELAHIRKAN PELAJAR YANG SIHAT!
sir ( *thinking* ) : that wan ah.there's 1 more isi sampingan.and it means that ur karangan is TEMPANG! ONE SIDED.
me ( *gosh! i knew that 1 more but just couldnt say it out! * ) : errr...donno sir.
sir : anybody knows? ( *looking around* ) aiyoo..sihat is fizikal ma.then the other 1 will be mental la! wake up wake up! haiyoo.u all are now talking about kurikulum must have both fizikal and mental ma!

i was like ( I WANTED TO TELL YOU BUT JUST CANNOT THINK OF IT IN AN INSTANT! )
nevermind...class go on..

oh yea.then he gav us handout.about pencemaran sungai.then there was punca & langkah.so i went through it.the 1st isi was...i forgot ady but as a huraian for the isi there's KRISIS AIR 1991! ( i was born on that year! )

sir : eh! mr.chua! which year u were born?
mr.chua ( james ) : 1991 lo.
sir : then u all must be thankful to ur lucky star ( ur mum la ) u know not! many women lost their babies because they got to carry water up down up down for those who are staying in a flat.the crisis lasted for 1 year u know! u're very lucky!

HAHAHA!

then..
sir : u all know how its all started?
sir : u all know the dam at the machap there? there's a big dam and there's a rubber tree or palm tree.then those factories for those rubber and palm oil released toxic waste to the water ( the dam ) and it pollute the water in the dam! and there's ppl rearing fishes in the dam.Hitu ikan mia besar sampai macam ni besar! then after the authorities saw those fish DYING ,,,,!!!! the tan seng yew there better listen! when they saw those fishes dying they let go the water in the dam.and the malaccans' got no water as their water source is from the dam itself.so that's the water crisis story.

PREFECT FAREWELL PARTY 2008

It was when OLYMPIC OPENING DAY 08/08/2008 when the s.f.i prefectorial board farewell party was held ( very meaningful day ) it was mainly for us the oldies after serving for the board.some sort like farewell for us.Equatorial hotel was the venue.as usual most of us got dress up and headed there.i drove my sis there too! aikss.kk.the party was held by the pool side.its kinda cool with scenic view of MALACCA.

Then...

its started with speeches and stuffs.AND! i can still remember clearly that our head prefect Mr.Ho kinn weng did the very UNEXPECTED.after giving his usual speech with his blurr and rough voice he held his glass and yelled : YAMMMMMMMMMMMM SEENNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was stunned! and jeremy too! we both were like : He okay not? party haven really get started and he's like HIGH? AND WITH JUST ORANGE JUICE????? ( we were served orang juice as beverage ) anyhow, we just did the usual and toast along too! wat to do? haha! then i had a quick glance at Mr.Ong ( pricipal ), a DATUK and few of our teacher advisors.same expression! but nvm.it was kinda okay for the start.

Moving on..

some of the guest of honour got held up with the amazing opening ceremony of the OLYMPICS so those form 4 committee told us that some of their well-planned activities have to be cancelled.basically, we are like OKAY..NOT A PROB..

10-15 mins later...

many of the prefects running around the pool.JEREMY KEK was the victim! more than 10 prefects circled him up and pushing and kicking him into the pool.he was like : NO NO!!!!! MY SHIRT!!!!! MY SHOES!!!! MY PHONE!! WALLET!!!! BLAH BLAH BLAH..who cares?

at last???? GOALLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!! JEREMY KEK IS IN THE POOL!!! cheerrsss! guess wat? i don think he can swim that well.i stood by the pool side saw him struggling! hahaha! like a small boy being thrown into a deep ocean.then i pulled him up!

GUESS WHAT?

HIS SHIRT APPEARED TO HAVE A FEW HOLES! PHONE SOAKED WITH WATER! CASH WET AND STUFF!

so funny! he was like a chicken that fell into a drain! then he got changed and things went on.

and party ended about 11 and we got home with a hopeful heart that the new committee can make the prefectorial board of s.f.i a better one! GOOD LUCK GUYS!me and JEREMY before the he was in the pool! hahaha!me and the form 6 prefect TZU CHI ( emcee of the night )
